The Batman (Spoiler Discussion)

[A Sith Lord?]

Just got out of it. Great great stuff.

-Beautiful Cinematography. Fits the atmosphere perfectly. The Noir look is perfect for this.

-Jeffrey Wright as Gordon is smooth. real smooth.

-Paul Dano was great. A more serial killeresque take on the Riddler.

-I like that Penguin still looks like a freak because of his facial scars, but he isn't like DeVito's height.

-Gotham looks dirty, gritty, depressing, gothic, and corrupt. Reminds me of TAS.

-Batman survived a bomb to the face, and then his parachute got stuck and he survived his body hitting the bus the bridge, and then rolling another 20 yards. And no concussions or anything.

-That armor is absurd. Makes for good cinema and imagination, but all those high caliber bullets and none penetrated his armor.

-Nice to see the Wayne origins be kind of spiced up this time rather than just the usual Bruce watches his parents get shot in front of his face stuff.

Lastly, it was fun to see like 95% Batman and 5% Bruce. And we finally get to see the world's greatest detective at work.
