Someone posted on the Hot Deals forum thread that they believed OVERBOARD is a 50GB BD, but no extras listed (Unless they are on the disc but not mentioned?) Otherwise the transfer if not messed with should be decent.

Overboard always had a slightly dirty film look to it as wells as some scenes grainier than others. I will pick this up afterwork. The price isn't bad at all.

Before people get *too* excited, I went to my local Target (Watertown, MA) at lunch today to seek these out. They had exactly zero of them.

It's unclear what's going on... some stores may just be putting these out early. Definitely a YMMV situation so far.

They're not in this coming Sunday's ad. Maybe the following Sunday?

Wonder how much they cost? Got the Mag 7 collection last month from Amazon for $24 haven't opened it yet.

If I return it to Amazon withthe $5 shipping - and the Target disc will have tax added - for a few more buck I get all the sequels - I guess I'll keep the set, it looks like a pretty nice set

If the transfers are anything like "Bull Durham" they aren't worth the upgrade, even at $10.

Got Overboard at my local Target but they had to retrieve it out of the back. There was a shelf tag for it, just none on the shelf (a different movie stocked in the spot). My wife and I are going to watch it this afternoon. I'll report back.

Target is a store that can't sell DVDs CDs etc before street date their computer system just won't let them be sold. It won't let the clerk ring up the item at all.

I would guess since others have bought them it much just be a sort of soft release, to be put on the shelfs as the stores receive them.

My local store has Overboard since I called and they found it on the shelf. Not sure about the other titles mentioned.

The old DVD of "Overboard" is non-anamorphic, so yes, the BD will be an upgrade, no matter how crappy the BD transfer is.

I would love to trade someone for their magnificent seven collection if you did want to get the stand alone movie. Let me know if you interested...
