Apple TV app for Fire stick, Xbox....

Quick question. It’s probably deliberate to make you buy an apple tv but I’ve been using the apple app on my Xbox but cannot find a way to access special features. I’m not being silly, right?

correct, extras are only available on apple devices.

Also the bit rates are capped on the Apple TV outside ATV box. So if you want best quality, ATV box is the way to go.

I'm not disputing what you say, I'm genuinely looking to learn here, as this is the first I've read this.

Given how much you look into these things, would you happen to have any examples of the difference in output readings between the app on, say, my LG OLED vs. the physical box?

Any insight you'd be willing to provide is greatly appreciated...Thanks!

I had no idea. I have owned an Apple TV 4K but I couldn’t tell the difference vs the 4K on the Xbox.
