Pretty lame cover, but a very good show. I might pick it up depending on local price (if it comes to NZ at all). Really want to watch the second season, but can't justify the YouTube Red subscription cost.

It does state "artwork not final" but kind of overpriced for only 10 episodes

Seems like pretty standard pricing to me

Wow, was not expecting the show to get a local release. Hopefully we'll get season two on blu as well down the road.

Looks like it's going DVD-only which is a shame. I still hold out hope that a blu-ray release could happen in Europe.

I just spoke with Universal Sony Home Entertainment Australia's customer service team about it. According to them, the Blu-ray is still being released. Apparently they received an email about there possibly being a delay with the Blu-ray, but at the moment, the date is still listed as the 14th of August.

Because Youtube holds the rights to it I guess, even though it’s a property of Sony

USA Cobra Kai Season 1

Just a heads up, me and my friend purchased season 1 blu ray a while ago and when we received the product it turns out the company gives you burned discs of the episodes...so if that doesn't bother you then by all means purchase it but if it does these are not legit BD discs

You two above have bought bootlegs. This potential official release in Australia is not available yet, and if it does come out, Universal Studios will surely use real pressed discs. Your bootleg purchases from eBay or wherever have absolutely no relation to this release.

^^ I know you can legally purchase and download the series from Vudu if you're in the U.S.

I just did a follow up with Universal Sony Australia about this, the Blu-ray is on schedule for the 14th of August.

I've also been in contact with the customer service teams at JB HiFi, and Sanity, regarding the Blu-ray release of this, and the recent conversations I've had with Universal Sony Australia. They are going to get in contact with Universal Sony about it, and will get back to me next week.

This is only available from Aussie ? No USA or anywhere else ? If so I'm getting this set . Wish they would do a 4k set since it was filmed that way .

The links to JB HiFi's, and Sanity's Blu-ray listings were pulled, because apparently they were told the release was cancelled. This is why I've been in contact with the distributior, to get some more info about this.

Ahh, I understand now... doh.
I finally caught up.

Interestingly, Mighty Ape in NZ has only ever had the DVD listed. I asked them last month if they were getting the blu-ray and they said no.
