Where the Heart is (2000)

It seems strange to me that this one never made it to Blu Ray. Natalie Portman, Ashley Judd, a very memorable piece of the story in that of the wal-mart birth... My wife and daughter watched this movie this morning, it was my daughters first ever viewing (she's 7) and my wife's first viewing in probably close to 20 years. I caught most of it as well. I had seen the film way back when it first came to home video and enjoyed it then for the kind of movie it was but probably hadn't watched it in around 20 years myself as well and enjoyed it even more today. It's just a well made film that has a lot of replay ability and a good message. My hopes for a Disney release are very, very low which is a shame, but hopefully one day someone get's it pressed to disc.
