That's a hefty price tag for what is essentially one episode and a special but my completist nature means I need this.

Well this time it should come with the re-issued 50i disk right out the box as they had fixed it. Will email BBC to check and make sure it don't have the 23.976 disk.

It's strange Zavvi have the cheapest price of the lot as usually they have full price but I might put pay the £2 extra as Zavvi has been slightly unreliable lately. Might put it in with Amazon.

Amazon UK will not ship any of the latest Who releases to the US, and Zoom has never shipped to the US at all, so I ordered with Zavvi. On a Doctor Who forum I frequent, the consensus seems to be Zavvi is not very reliable for these. Are you having the same issues with them? It makes me wonder if I will end up hitting eBay for these **shudder**

For Zavvi Exclusives I never had an issue apart from one that never turned up but that was the odd one out of many.

For Limited releases that every store gets I stopped ordering from Zavvi as those in the past I found were not reliable and I go with Amazon or Zoom these days.

Errrr. Just heard about this release and it’s already sold out.

Seems this set is basically a reissue of the 50th anniversary set content-wise. Hope I don't miss out as I already have the other steelbooks!

I haven't gone down the Dr. Who rabbit hole yet. Wish this was in 4k, I would be picking it up for sure!

Do we know when yet? I saw an announcement email from Zavvi which said "Secure yours NOW before it's too late!", which seems awfully misleading if it's not even available to order.

I received an email from Zavvi and ordered it from them this morning. Amazon is once again not shipping it to the US, so I had no choice. Series 6 never made it here from Zavvi, so I'm quite concerned.
Also, I have the 3D disc and I'm going to keep it in this steelbook, if it makes it here.

Fingers crossed.

Zavvi is actually sold out, but Amazon UK is only showing sold out if you are outside of the UK. I assume Zavvi got a rush of orders from those of us in the states and Canada since Amazon isn't currently an option.

Extremely cheap of them to not include this on the Series 7 steel, and then charge the same price as a whole series for just two episodes.
