Got lucky with a PS5 from Wal-mart and set it up today. I'm getting the dreaded soap opera smoothing effect on 4k discs unfortunately. There doesn't appear to be any way to turn it off. I've seen nobody else talk about this, but probably because there's been little picky folks out there watching any movies on one of these yet. I had a similar problem with an LG player and it's not my TV. Any other device I can playback 4k discs on is fine.
