Can't wait to see it. The heavy comical angle to this series really separates it from most of the pack of super hero movies.

I wasn't overly enthusiastic about the lates Marvel offerings but this looks like a huge hit to me (based on hope - not that much to see yet). I love the first film.

Pretty certain Gunn confirmed on his Facebook a while ago that he's planned the film in 3D and expanded ratio IMAX 3D scenes like the first one.

Cool stuff, looks like a fun movie. I hope we get an equally tough villain for the team to defeat.

That shot with the ship flying towards the screen with the tiny enemy ships behind him, reminds me of Star Trek Beyond's tiny cutter ships. Here's hoping this gets a strong 3D conversion to show how it's done. I can imagine we'll be in good shape for the 3D if they match or exceed Guardians of the Galaxy 1's 3D.

Saw the trailer in 3D. It looked incredible. Strong 3D throughout.

Once again, the trailers show us that they are nailing the essential humor and character moments that make this franchise great. All they have to do now is get the plot right, which is the hardest part, but I have faith.

Apparently, James Gunn shot some scenes in IMAX with expanding aspect ratios.

I liked it for the action and fx and 3D of course. I just think it's too silly for my tastes. I'm 50/50 on Marvel movies. GOTG was entertaining but it suffers some Joss Whedon syndrome of too many jokes. James Gunn is a good writer/ director but he needs to dial back the humour a tad.
