Default if it's any indication

I went on the HD DVD forum to find out what deals are out there on HD DVDs (I'm not opposed to getting an HD DVD player, I'm neutral, deal with it) and I check back, and nothing.......

If this is any indication in the support of one format or the other, I'll say this..... I pose a question here, and there are 50-60 new posts (not all in regards to my query) in about 15 minutes..... I pose a question there, 15 minutes later I get one response, and there are a total of 5-8 new posts total......

This forum like a liquor store on New Years Eve, compared to their Shlotzke's Bagels on Hanukah........

Yea, this is a very consistently active site. Has their activity over there dwindled even more in the past weeks?

This site consistently average 2000 users (both members and guests) at any given time... that number rises daily too.

All the smart ones have started looking at Blu-rays, the rest are all too busy trying to spread fud about the lower player prices winning them the format war or how HD downloads are going to trump everything to help a fellow HD-DVD fan with some good picks.

It's your money of course, but if you don't have an HD DVD player already, save your money. Buying an HD DVD player now would be an act of extreme stupidity IMHO. Anything you want on red will be available on Blu soon enough.
