It's always been the original Scooby Doo series back in 1968 or 69.

I loved their superhero work... Space Ghost/Herculoids/Birdman. I used to love weekend afternoons where Cartoon Network would show large blocks of the shows.

Much as I'd like to give some support to Huckleberry Hound (no setup, no sidekicks, just the underreacting Buster Keaton of H-B):

and much as I consider Mr. Jinks to be the Bill Murray of early H-B, and am probably the only person who ever got the joke about Snagglepuss (most, for some reason, don't, even though the answer is so obvious, you'll )
,
the fact remains:
The Flintstones was simply one of the Three Smartest Written Sitcoms of the entire 60's, right next to Dick Van Dyke Show and Addams Family:

(...Oh, wait, anyone mentioned Johnny Quest yet?)

I do loves me some classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons. I actually have a few signed animation cels from them.

Gotta say the original Scooby Doo is probably my fave. I also like all the Scooby clones too. Speed Buggy, Captain Caveman, etc. Challenge of the Superfriends was another I really liked. Honorable mention to Hong Kong Phooey with the legendary Scatman Crothers doing the voice.

Yes, I should have been more specific. I don't care for the new ones. Only the originals.

By the way, isn't there supposed to be a poll here somewhere? I only ask becaise this thread was created in the poll forum.

Yeah I like some of the new Hanna-Barbera cartoons but the old ones are classic.

Flintstones, growing up I must have seen every episode 50 times. Even though I know what was going to happen I always wished Barney would coldcock Fred in at least one episode.

Surprised nobody else said Jonny Quest, that show is a classic (in all its versions, especially Real Adventures). Still have a VHS of Real Adventures, wish it'd come to DVD or Blu one day.

(If it don't sound like Godzilla, it ain't Godzilla. Same with the Roland Emmerich version.)

Where's the poll?

As for favourite, I would probably go with The Flintstones, followed by The Jetsons and The Herculoids. I'll throw in The Smurfs as well.

For nostalgia purposes, I'd have to go with Thundarr the Barbarian, Dungeons and Dragons, and Godzilla.

Good to see some love towards The Herculoids. Challenge of the SuperFriends was awesome and so was Godzilla at the time.
