Default King Kong (1933) vs Godzilla (1954)

Two of the most influential giant monster movies of all time. Which one is the better one in your opinion?

Kong is more technically proficient. Godzilla has more dramatic depth.

King Kong (1933) for me. I do like Godzilla (1954).

Both movies are classics, but I had to go with the original inspiration for special effects artists around the world: Kong

Tough one but I'll go with Gojira.

Like them both but this is an easy choice, King Kong.

I don't know. I prefer Godzilla the monster more, but I grew up more with 1933's King Kong.

King Kong, but I actually prefer Might Joe Young.

Not a common view, I suspect, but a heartfelt one.

While King Kong is the granddaddy of em' all, I get far more enjoyment out of Godzilla.

Minor nitpick, that's ultimately pointless, Gojira is the 1954 movie. Godzilla is 1956. Either way, the Japanese monster gets my vote.
