Default iTunes 4K for TV Shows

I’ve been interested in buying Frasier (Original): The Complete Series through the Apple TV app. I’ve been Leary because it shows 4K and I assumed that was for Paramount +. I reached out to Apple and asked if the series was SD and HD. To my surprise they told me it is in fact 4K. I’m still a bit skeptical, but has anyone noticed 4K for TV Shows?

I wouldn’t trust anything Apple support says, ever.

I personally have not seen anything for supporting TV shows.

The Complete Series Set on iTunes is definitely HD.

I don't know if Frasier is in 4K but there are at least two series in 4K on Apple/iTunes: "Star Trek Strange New Worlds" (US) and "Raumpatrouille" (DE).

They are not. They mislabeled. If you enable the Developer Mode on the AppleTV, you'll see that the actual resolution of the AppleTV stream is 1080p.
