Lee will also write the film with Kevin Willmott, based on an original screenplay by Danny Bilson & Paul DeMeo, and rewrite by Matthew Billingsley. Lee will also produce with Beatriz Levin & Lloyd Levin, and Jon Kilik.

The film follows Vietnam veterans who return to the jungle to find their lost innocence. SOURCE

I’m all in just on the names. Lee, Bozeman, Lindo, Reno. I love the idea of returning to the jungle after Vietnam.

Aww, man... Netflix.
You know what? I like Netflix. I have it. It's cool. I like their series. But if they wanna get into the theatrical game they should set up a theatrical distribution shingle like Amazon does, and give those movies a proper theatrical run and life internationally.
Otherwise you're basically turning movies into made for TV movies.
I'm not okay with their half-assed 'kinda in the theatrical game, kinda not' game. And yes, I agree with the French that movie awards shows should require more "theatrical cred" from Netflix before admitting their movies.

Could potentially be a Criterion release down the line depending on the response. But yeah, with Netflix (and seemingly Amazon now as well) likely to be no Blu unless it’s from Criterion
