Jesus, MGM releasing UHDs. Truly it is the end of times. (Yes I know it's Warners on the label but that's because they're MGM's main home video distributor, they can't do anything without MGM's assent.)

Why just those two?

Franchises should be all incorporated when upgrading to a newer format. So what? We get 3 and 4 in 2024? 5 and Balboa in 2025?

Yes, and the boxset in 2026 with a couple of new extras to get people to double-dip.

This should be released as a box set with all six movies. Anything less than that will be a disappointment.

I think the box set is coming in 2023 these are the only ones currently unofficially announced I believe the rest are coming around the same time same with the box set.

Wouldn't mind a library steelbook set by Warner like they did for Mad Max and Matrix. Rocky definitely deserves such a box set.

pleeeeeeeeease include the original audio mixes, especially for the first one, remember that no one wants to be a Paramount

it'd however be a f-cking miracle if all the movies had their original opening UA logos restored (iirc, only 3, 5, and 6 had them retained on the BDs)

Well, I love that these will be individual releases as I only want the first two. Hopefully the Lethal Weapon 4Ks, when they happen, follow this pattern.
