Rock-A-Bye Baby Blu-ray Review

I have watched the 3 new Olive Films Blu-rays of the 3 Jerry Lewis titles released on February 14th, (Rock-a-Bye Baby, Geisha Boy & Boeing Boeing).

I am a little disappointed in the transfers. They are very clear and pure but are missing that "eye-popping" look that only Paramount Technicolor films from that era have. The color scheme is fine but the colors should be looking a little more vibrant and intense. They seem to be just a tad muted. Not much but enough to make a difference. If these were DVD's, I would be very pleased but I was hoping that on Blu-ray, the natural boost that the format gives would make these films look pretty amazing.
