That's it, my HD DVD Players going on ebay today...

I just watched my first BR movie last night "Ratatouille" on my new Blu-ray player... The PQ was amazing...

Great news and great post.

If you have the display for it and it's calibrated, Underworld is also an awesome choice. If your setup is stressed by blacks, you'll not be impressed. I have fun with friends by starting them off on the upconverted Underworld DVD then cutting over to the Blu. I've Blu-converted four family units since that movie shipped.

Underworld is one of my favorite movies. I can't wait to see this one my Blu-ray. I seen it a few times on HBO in HD.

That's a good way to become acquainted with Blu-ray as that title is reference quality for both PQ and AQ. And if animation is your thing then you've definitely chosen wisely because there is a lot more of that on this side of the fence.
