I grew up in the 1980s when I was a kid but never knew about Society that came out in 1989. I just didnt or know anything about that movie until these days.

Just wondering if there will ever be a movie like Society again later on in the next few years or not where Society is a one of a kind movie?

FX wise, Slither was similar. Theme wise, check out Satanic Panic.

As far as that kind of grotesque body horror, I associate that more with the '80s, but there's been several more recent examples as well. Color Out of Space comes to mind.
