Default Tarantino/Rodriguez Movie Connections

UPDATED! I finally updated the chart today, and this is a beast!

The timeline looks messy (there is so many links) but it works! Now, please, understand that this "timeline" is unofficial and his my own interpretation of all the links between the movies directed by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, with few movies directed by others as a bonus on few occasions. Many fans ignore the whole "Tarantino Universe/Movie-in-Movie Universe" and merge everything together. I prefer the separation, for now, as there is no obvious link between both 'universe' at the moment.

About Kill Bill: Some places the Events of Kill Bill Vol. 1-2 after From Dusk Till Dawn 2 and consider the scene with Earl and Edgar McGraw (taking place 4 years before the main events of Kill Bill) as a flashback happening prior the events of From Dusk Till Dawn and From Dusk Till Dawn 2 (the death of both characters). I totally like that idea, and it is very plausible. However, because this is only a speculation, and to alleviate the visual of an already messy timeline, I decided to place Kill Bill before From Dusk Till Dawn.

About Once Upon A Time in Hollywood: I decided to place Once Upon A Time in Hollywood in the Tarantino Universe, even if the movie has no direct connection with any other movies. There is an obscure one: the set used for Dalton’s TV show "Bounty Law" is that of the town in Django Unchained where Dr. Schultz invites Django to work with him, so it’s possible that "Bounty Law" uses the same movie set as Django Unchained. Also, because the movie revisits true events, but changes the outcome in a similar way to Inglourious Basterds, I think it fits well in there. I know that the 'Manson Murders' are mentioned in Natural Born Killers, but considering the reality has been changed at the end of Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, it doesn't mean that others Charles Manson's followers did not murder other people instead. Anyway, that's my take on it for now!

About A Million Ways to Die in the West: I added the movie because of the appearance of Django in the pre-credits scene, but it is not-canon. That movie is a comedy, with tons of references to other films, and doesn't really respect any of the timelines/chronologies. By example, Django was around 30 years old during the events of Django Unchained (2012), which is set in the years 1858-1859. In A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014), which is set in 1882, Django should be now in his mid-50 years-old, but don't look any older than what he was in Django Unchained. Another mistake the movie makes is the appearance of Doc Emmett Brown from Back to the Future Part III (1989). Doc Brown only arrived in the Far West in 1885, three years after. Anyway, that movie is just for fun! So, I added the reference, but it's not canon.

About the Django/Zorro Comic: In 2015, Quentin Tarantino wrote a Django/Zorro crossover comic book, that I consider canon. However, for now, the timeline is exclusively for movies, TV series and videogames. If Quentin Tarantino ever decide to make the long rumored Django/Zorro movie, I'll probably include the comic book in the timeline.

About the Fake Brands: In this new version, I added the fake brands used in multiples movies, notably the Red Apple cigarettes, the Big Kahuna Burger fast food restaurant, the Old Chattanooga beer, the Teriyaki Donut restaurant/coffee house, and the G.O. Juice. Other fake brands appears but I'm not including them (yet) as each one of them only appear in one specific movie.

Please let me know if you saw other references that I missed by commenting below! Thank you!
