Thumbs up Hi All

I just wanted to quickly introduce myself. I have been a long time reader of this site but first time poster. The first time I saw Blu last summer I knew that I couldn't do without it. I now have almost 50 Blu Rays and counting. I currently have a ps3 but am looking at either buying a Samsung BDP1400 or Panasonic DMP-BD30 but am undecided on which one to buy. Anyways thank you all for your posts as this site has answered every question that I have ever had on Blu Ray. Keep up the good work.

Welcome!!

I recommend the Panasonic. It has more up-to-date features and is an all around better machine. Folks here at Blu-ray.com rave about it.

We'll see you in the forums!

Or wait a bit and pick up the Panasonic BD50 for just a few quid more. It'll bitstream and internal decode the HD audio.

Thanks for the intro - it's good to know you.

Thanks for the welcomes and advice. I have an Onkyo TX-SR605 that I picked up last fall. I'm going to look into the Panasonic.
