Not 101 Films...

That said, haven't their UHDs reportedly been solid? Wonder how this'll compare to Kino's.

I own their Incendies 4K, seemed pretty solid to me.

Yeah I've got their Alligator and Slumber Party Massacre UHDs and they're pretty good and identical to the Shout Releases. I imagine they'll probably use the same transfer as kino

they say that there is new special features but there is only one new special feature and thats the interview with dir Abel Ferrara because the other two are from the kino release but i'm really glad its getting released in the uk and a better one than the Fabulous Films 2012 release.

They gotta stop hiring the same 5 "artists" who do the same orange/green complimentary color "pop" art cartoonize-me garbage. Oh my lord.

Great film.

I have the US disc

I may be tempted especially as Ferrara's pension needs topping up.

They’re all very nice! I’ve got them all since Incendies (not sure if they released others before) and am very happy. Could be that they’re hiring VDMS.

Big question is will this have the OG track without the omitted music?

At least we get the original art too. Its when they’re both new that I dont’ like.

Or the generally crappy state of a lot of modern poster art. I have the book ‘James Bond: 50 Years of Movie Posters’ and once you hit the 90s it really stops being interesting - no real variation between regions and the posters themselves are dull

Great movie with an amazing performance but I think I'm good with the kino. It looks really good I thought and so happy they kept the NC 17 version

In case anyone is wondering, this version is uncut as opposed to the cuts it received by the bbfc when it came out on VHS, the initial cuts were during scenes of drug use and rape. According to their website this version is uncut - yet in this case uncut unfortunately doesn't mean the original music choices.
https://www.bbfc.co.uk/release/bad-l...jpwwc0zmjcymzy
For additional context, here is an interesting archival video talking about it's cuts when released in the UK back in the day :
