That looks awesome...assuming they weren't stupid enough to have the RT logo as part of the Steelbook itself (can you imagine?!)

This is amazing. I love this artwork so much; I'm so glad that the normal Blu-ray had reversible art because I flipped it to that in a heartbeat!! I might even buy a couple of these.

And another thing for any Mandy lovers out there hoping for a 4K release.. I tried to contact RLJE Films over the past couple of weeks and finally got through by messaging their Instagram page. I asked them if they had any plans for a Mandy 4K release, and they said "as of now we unfortunately do not have plans for a MANDY 4K release. Thank you for your interest and for reaching out to us! We appreciate your support." This steelbook release proves that they are still supporting the film though, and maybe as 4K becomes more popular over the next year or two, they will look into revisiting it with a 4K release. Fingers crossed

Yeah, if that's outside the wrap, it's trash. But if somehow that's on the case itself...absolutely no deal. It's a dumb way to market it either way - I think most potential buyers already know what it is and don't need the laughable RT seal of approval.

It took me awhile to track down a copy with a slip, not going to pay $30 just for a box, even though the movie is frickin' awesome.

$20 maybe... but not $30. This is one I can wait for a potential price drop

How is it possible that RLJ realizes that this movie is popular enough to warrant them wasting money reissuing it in collectible steelbook packaging, but not think people would've spent money on a 4k release?

Probably less cost to slap current discs in a steelbook than to take the time in a 4k transfer, new discs, and a new package as well?

I mean it's not like they're gonna create a new 4K DI from the raw material and redo all postprocessing. Or that anyone would notice if they'd just upscale the BD master.
