Update I just checked Amazon’s website and they have a 48 inch LG OLED for $796.99 with free shipping.
One can now buy a 48 inch OLED TV for $899.99 at Best Buy and other retailers. LG model OLED48A1PUA. So, prices are coming down even though there is inflation in some electronic products. When it comes to Smart TV’s there appears to be a bubble in selection and QTY to choose from. It appears to be too many TV’s on the market, and most consumers already have several TV’s in their home. The average consumer upgrades their main home theater display every 10 years. Some consumers will wait 20 years or until the TV breaks before upgrading, especially if it’s a bedroom TV or another room besides the main home theater room.
