My 4K equipment is a little lacking with the times as my Onkyo 636 and older M series 4k Vizio both only have 1 HDCP 2.2 / 4K/60 compliant port. I just added a PS5 to the mix so I was thinking, as a stop-gap, that I would just add one of these no-frill 3 in 1 HDMI switches off the TV (one for receiver out, one for 4k player) and it should be good.
Any flaws or concerns with the approach that I'm not thinking of? My only concern is the receiver source would technically be switched twice; once at the receiver, another at the TV, but i don't know if that really matters. Last edited by sinister184; 06-18-2021 at 07:12 PM. |
