2 Sony 4K & Region Free BD players...which is better?

I need help since I'm not tech savvy, because I'm having hard time choosing between these 2 players!

I think they're both X800M2s, so the same player.

According to product page of the first player:

Date First Available: November 20, 2017


Product page of the second player:

Date First Available: August 15, 2019

From the listing the first one is the original x800 built like tank but no Dolby Vision. The second is the x800 M2 with Dolby. So if you’re display has Dolby capabilities choose option 2.

Both listings mention the M2, but the first one says the older model under "Item model number".

Like Kubrick0730 posted, if they are different go for the newer one with Dolby Vision.

It's an adaptor to use the plug in different countries (people use them when they have shavers or hairdryers from other countries). But if I remember most SONY units have an external adaptor with a breakaway power lead, so you can switch them to suit your needs.

Not sure were you're located or which region this player is from (even though it's region free the Apps may be locked), but I might look into buying from one of the multi-region sellers directly (depending on your location).

I'm in Egypt, and the seller is Bombay Electronics based in Illinois!
