HK Film Recommendations and General 88Films/Arrow/Eureka Wishlist Thread

I mentioned this in another thread that some of the older HK film fans here might remember the HK Film Recommendations film poll I ran across various fan forums back in 2002 to create a sort of extensive listing and ranking of HK cinema back when the original DVD HK film boom was really amping up. It's almost twenty years later and my website is long gone, but I figured with 88Films & Eureka kickstarting interest in HK cinema again, the results of this poll might be of use to newcomers wondering just watch classics are held in the highest esteem or were held that way back in the day!

I figure this isn't technically breaking any forum rules on promoting your own website when you consider this isn't my website anymore, it's not been online in like 15yrs I think, so it's just an old listing on the good old internet Wayback machine.

That's the old homepage introducing the poll and the links in the top left column should all take you to the results. As you can see it was a pretty extensive poll in terms of the films it covered, and a number of the members here voted in it back in the day. *cough*Including someone named Markgway, who IIRC, IMO, low-balled many Stephen Chow comedies*cough*

I also figure we caould also have a thread for general speculation on what titles might be coming and what title we are desperately waiting for, as it seems every release thread goes through a phase of "I really hope they release" posting at some point anyway, might as well have a dedicated place for it!
