Child's Play Trilogy where is it? - Blu-ray Forum

I know MGM owns the rights for Child's Play (at least in the US) and Universal owns the rights for parts 2 and 3, but as we got a full Chucky HD boxset a few years ago it is by the time a UHD boxset for the original trilogy should be released, right?

I just wonder how colorful and amazing the final chase in CP2 would look in 4K, those thousands of yellow Good Guy Dolls boxes in the factory, the blood in Chucky's nose, his clothing.

Scream Factory wants to release the sequels, but Universal doesn't want to sublicense them out.

Now you're probably asking, "Why can't Universal release them, then?". Because they don't want to.

Scream Factory has stated that if you want Universal to sublicense the sequels, you have to keep asking Universal to make it happen.
