Just Entered The World Of Blu-Ray - Blu-ray Forum

Hi, I just got my first Blu-Ray player and HD TV two weeks ago, and man I am in love. The picture quality is absolutely addictive.

I got the Sony 300s with the 5 free discs in-store and 5 free by-mail. I picked up: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, 3:10 to Yuma, Meet The Robinsons, House Of Flying Daggers, and Hairspray. I have since picked up the 5-disc set of Blade Runner (all BR fans should own this), and got Ratatouille for free from a friend who ordered it by accident instead of the DVD... hehe.

Love the threads I have been reading here. Looking forward to posting with some of you.

welcome, this site is great for any information on blu! If you just purchased a hdtv, i'd calibrate it using the tool in the special features menu of Ratatoiulle, it truly makes a difference.

Also, recommend all 3 of the Pirates movies, they are simply amazing with the picture, and audio quality. Welcome again.
