It's light but fun. Jimmy Stewart and Kim Novak are pretty much as charming and as likable as you would expect and Jack Lemmon comes pretty close to stealing the show whenever he's around.

And the HD broadcast I saw looked great. Very cool, very stylized and very colorful. If you like 50s technicolor you should love this.

Never seen it myself Blu Titan, but hey...Stewart and Novak together again the same year they made Vertigo...now how can that not be a movie fan's dream?

But somebody must really know and love this pic, because for the past 3 to 4 days it's been pinned to the top spot on SAE's weekly hot 10. Of course, it's newly listed for pre-order, but still, folks are clearly jumping on it.

It's definitely no Vertigo. It's alright, but to me it was forgettable. I can't say the same about Stewart, but I've seen pretty much everything with Novak from the time period, and this is one of my least favorite. Although, most of her films at the time were dramas, so maybe I'm just disappointed at this very-light comedy (which would also explain my not liking Boy's Night Out as well). Octagon's description is correct as always, I'm just throwing an opinion out there...
