It’s just recently occurred to me that I do something weird with the alphabetizing of my collection that was never really a conscious decision—I alphabetize boxed sets of directors’ works (like ALFRED HITCHCOCK: The Limited Edition Masterpiece Collection, the STANLEY KUBRICK: Limited Edition Collection, and the STEVEN SPIELBERG: Director’s Collection) by the last name of the director, but I alphabetize movies about a specific character, like James Bond or Indiana Jones, by their first name. That makes no rational sense but, emotionally, it feels right, LOL. Anybody have any weird collecting ticks like this (other than the obvious OCD need for mint condition slipcovers that so many of us suffer from)?
