It is nice... but that original Blu has the original poster art, which I'll always take over new art, no matter how good the "new" may be. Might have to grab this and put the the new Criterion discs in the old case. Such a great flick; that opening "long take" tracking shot!!!!!

I have Imprint’s Australian BD and it looks nice (and has nice packaging with the original poster on the slipcase), but happy this is coming out. I’ll probably hold onto that too since none of its bonus features carry over here. I wonder if the audio will be improved. I’ve always needed subtitles to watch this.

I have the Aussie release too, but will keep that one for the awesome slipcover and exclusive extras. Also good to sate my collector's OCD, because now I can keep one copy next to the De Palma film in my "Original & Remake" section, and another in my "Howard Hawks" section.

The Imprint looks good with the original poster art, although appears to be OOP. The Mark Chiarello cover looks a little MS Paint.

This is now the third Howard Hawks' film getting an UHD, the other two were Rio Bravo and His Girl Friday. Kino Lorber has already announced an UHD of Hatari, but no release date yet.
