The Odyssey miniseries should be on bluray. IMDB 7.0 One of the greatest books by homer. For some reason I was thinking of Homer Simpson and Magavox Odyssey on Pawn Stars and brought me to this movie and other greatest books today.

Seconded. This was an exceptionally good miniseries and admirably faithful to the spirit (sometimes even to the letter) of Homer's epic.

I actually enjoy quite a few films that released under RHI Entertainment/Hallmark:

Gulliver's Travels (1996)
Moby Dick (1998)
Merlin (1998)
Alice in Wonderland (1999)
A Christmas Carol (1999)
Arabian Nights (2000)
Jason and the Argonauts (2000)
The Magical Legend of the Leprechauns (1999)

They did release The 10th Kingdom on blu-ray, which gave me hope, but nothing else released from this RHI period.

I havent clicked on the link but I assume this was the armand assante version, cant remember who portrayed penelope, but it was decent summer entertainment and for what I remember it'd look really nice in BD, so yes, Im on board (hopefully to Ithaca)
