Paramount will be releasing Scream 3 on 4K UHD on October 3rd! There will be a regular 4K release, as well as a 4K Steelbook. There will also be an Original Trilogy Collection coming out.

Sidney Prescott lives in isolation while the rest of the players are involved in the making of the new "Stab 3" sequel, based on the events surrounding the Greensboro killings. When a mysterious killer begins to murder the cast of "Stab 3", it feels all too familiar to everyone involved. Sidney is forced out of hiding and the game begins all over again - this time with the most chilling of conclusions.

Also had a feeling this would get announced. The current BD is hot garbage, so this is a very welcome upgrade.

I'm just thankful they didn't wait two extra years so they could have a third 25th anniversary release (though I wouldn't be surprised if they did a reissue with that banner)

I agree that it's good that all three movies we no longer will have to suffer through the ancient SD masters uprezzed to HD

That's a big question mark. Paramount are including it in a 6-film DVD release coming out in the US, as well as a Blu-ray set in the UK (with no indication that it's licensed from Lionsgate), and the film is streaming on Paramount+ in the UK too.

The UK pack appears to have the Entertainment in Video disc. The back lists Scream 4 as "High Definition 1080p 23.98/16:9 2.40" which is taken straight from the back of the EiV package, and is different to how all the other films are listed (e.g. 2:35 letterbox).

LOL agreed. In this case, I've never clicked a preorder so fast in my life - even though I don't love the Steel, I did the Steel on the rest of the series, so of course went for it here. I have a few but don't usually collect them, but in this case - duh.

If we don't get one for 4, I'm going to have to find someone to make a custom.

I'm super excited about this - but, to echo the last few years every time one of these is announced...dang, even if we do get 4, it will be at least a year from now.

I can barely wait until October for this one. I truly love this film, Parker Posey is so amazing...at least I'll feel the OT is complete after this one comes out.

I'm with ya! Been waiting for them to release 3 and 4 4k steels as I have all the others. I wish this one was black like the others....still, it will be mine!

It will suck if they don't release a part 4 steelbook....

I have matching steelbook UHDs of everything in the series except for 3&4, so I will definitely pre-order this.
