Moulding the genre with chills and thrills, director Irvin S. In a tiny California town, high school students Brian (Kevin Dillon, Entourage), Meg (Shawnee Smith, SAW) and Paul (Donovan Leitch Jr, Glory) discover an unusual gelatinous substance with the ability to remove flesh off any living creatures in its path. A technician brings a frozen specimen of the original Blob back from the North Pole. When his wife accidentally defrosts the thing, it terrorizes the populace, including the local hippies, kittens, and bowlers.
