A Dark Song US BD region free? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi all.

As I live in Europe, I would like to know if anyone here knows whether the US BD release of Irish horror drama A Dark Song (2016) is region free or region A locked (it states A on the release cover)?

The film has not been released here on BD, hence why I want to know about the US release. Thx.

As far as I know Shout Factory locks most, if not all of their releases.

There is a Canadian release from the label Raven Banner Releasing, and this review states it's region free:

It can be bought on Amazon.ca, or eBay.

Any idea where I can find the Canadian release? Amazon.ca only has the US import release from Shout Factory, I'm afraid.

But I also found this ebay auction, that ships worldwide, and the price seems to be cheaper than Amazon. They posted the back cover too, and it does show the region ABC logo too, so very promising sign that it's truly region free

I checked the Amazon.ca page earlier, but I don't trust the information there. It states 1 disc only and says DVD. The pic is of a combo release, so I think they just stole the pic from the BD/DVD release.

The ebay links look promising. Will check them out!

Edit: just bought from the first link, $22 incl shipping. Thank you for the tip
