Default Please... HELP!

Hey guys I'm new here. I just want to say that I havn't made my decision if I'm going to support Blu-ray, or HD DVD. But I'm leaning torwards Blu-ray. But the reason I made this new thread was because, I wanted to know what people prefer when it comes to buying a new T.V.! I've done some research, and the Sony Bravia caught my eye! Also maybe the Sharp Aqious! But as I said, I wanted to know what people prefer, when it comes to T.V's

Thanks

If I would too get a new TV right now, I would get a 60" pioneer Kudo 1080p

Very popular question. Use the search function it is your friend.

Pioneer Kuro is my favorite TV, but i think the bigger the better so if given my choice would go with a projector.

Well I'm a Sony fan and they get great reviews check c-net, JD Power and consumer reports. Sony does very well, besides I really like the picture very crisp and natural> especially when watching Blu-Ray.

and by the way hd-dvd is quite dead just not buried yet!

the sony bravias are top of the line lcds, kuros are top of the line plasmas. if your on a budget the samsung 71 series is a great value, but not quite up to snuff with the bravia or kuro.

well it depend on size and which model you are talking about. i know the 50" kuro is about 4-5k and the 60" is about 6-7k. so i dont think there is a bravia out there going for those prices?

Add one more vote for Bravia. You won't regret investing in any of these in the Bravia line.

Picture Quality on the non-elite line is still excellent with fewer features and a 50" is under 3k, less than an Xbr4.

don't let all these sony ass kissing fans lead down the road of deception. this thread is subjective as hell. the sammy will give you a great picture and extra money left over to buy all those blu-ray movies you want. you buy a sony you're buying a great tv, but you're paying for 4 letters on your tv SONY and that's the bottom line.

I agree. When I bought my 32" LCD last year, I was lucky enough to find a retailer who had a Sammy, Sony and Sharp (the 3 best brands according to my then research) side by side all playing the same hi-def feed. The Samsung was as good, if not better than the other two and the cheapest of the three. I've not had a moment's regret since.
