There needs to be more choices of the Dune movies released on the 4K Blu-ray format.

There should be more choices of the Dune movies in the United States and other areas of the world. For example, people that live in France on 1-31-2022 Warner Bros well be releasing the new 2021 version of Dune on both Blu-ray 3D and the 4K Blu-ray format in the same package.

Back on Jan 31st 2006 Universal Studios released the Dune Extended Edition 177 minute version of the 1984 version of Dune on the 480i DVD format. It was a dual sided dual layer DVD that contained the 137 minute theatrical version on the other side of the DVD. So one had both the 177 minute extended version and 137 minute theatrical version plus bonus features from this 2006 DVD release. A 4K Blu-ray release containing the extended 177 minute of Dune should be released in the United States and other areas of the world one day.

Then the year 2000 version of Dune that was 295 minutes was released on the DVD format on June 11th 2002, but no 4K Blu-ray or standard Blu-ray was released in the United States (there appears to be imports offered on standard Blu-ray’s for this 2000 version of Dune, some region B locked others region free).

Children of Dune (year 2003) was released on the DVD format in May 20th 2003, however it never was released on the 4K Blu-ray or standard Blu-ray format in the United States. (there appears to be imports offered on standard Blu-ray’s for Children of Dune, some region B locked others region free).
