Thanks for reply. What you two said must be true. Cause "where to buy" section doesn't list anywhere. |

Walmart does have agreements with Sony, LG, and Samsung to get their own exclusive model numbers for electronics, to allow them to sell at different prices and to give the finger to price-matching with Best Buy, Target, etc. due to the different model numbers. I don't think there's usually been any real difference between their specific offerings and the identifiable equivalents elsewhere, but I have heard reports of the number of HDMI ports on the TVs occasionally being different. I've never bought a Walmart TV, so I can't speak from personal experience.

I compared the picture to my sony x700 and it was virtually identical. |

Look what I've found at one of my Walmart locations.
Not sure if it's just a Walmart model of the UBK90 (like how the UP875 was the Best Buy model of the UP870) or if it's really the 2019 successor to the UBK90. Attachment 221923 Last edited by Zoland2020; 10-23-2019 at 11:50 AM. |

Also, when I go to Walmart website and search that model number, it shows there too. Last edited by ajy0903; 05-23-2019 at 05:39 AM. |

from what I've been able to dig up this model is the 2019 "walmart exclusive" of the UBK90 as the UBKC90 is to Costco. seems like a solid deal for the player. Although I find it strange that WM sells the UBK90 and UBKM9 next to each other, with the UBKM9 being $100 cheaper
how are LG players in general these days? I have an X800 that is getting finnicky with freezes and was considering grabbing this one to replace it (BF is just around the corner) but I hadn't had an LG player in literally YEARS so I don't know their quality atm Last edited by wormraper; 07-24-2019 at 05:58 AM. |
