it's awesome that it's in DTS-HD MASTER AUDIO 5.1

I Guess All Studios Are Using DTS-HDMA NOW & DROPPED DOLBY TUREHD

It would've been lossless either way so I don't understand how it's awesome that it's in a specific lossless format...

The Main Reason Why Its a great thing is that they finally picked 1 lossless audio format and a space saver, because they are getting ready for 3D.

BLU-RAY & DTS-HDMA!!!!

Finally

I'll probably be blind buying this one too. I wish there were some more features and a commentary but oh well. Hopefully, it'll be around $20 or less on release day.

IF this goes sub $20, I'll blind buy it because I am a sucker for these sorts of films....and looking at 3/16, I don't see myself buying Armored, Astroboy or Fourth Kind, so those other releases stilts things in Ninja Assassin's favour.

This looks like a fun, over the top Ninja flick. A blind buy for me.

It was VERY fun. Storywise not so clever though.

I wonder if this is going to be a 3 disc BD release (BD,DVD,Digital Copy) or a 2 disc release (Flipper Disc/Digital Copy)...

I wondered that as well, but I don't *think* Warner does "Flippers"

It's a piece of crap. Most of the action takes place in the dark so you can't see anything plus it's edited like someone's on speed.
Save your cash.

to be honest I felt the same way until I started to collect more and more of each lossless codec...DTS HD MA is way more robust and expansive...I attended CES this year and did REALLLLLL comparisons with their best stuff and DTS bluuuu them away....so he is right....DTS HD MA is truley the master...major expansiveness, richer fidelity and more umph...

Weird, out of the 450+ Blu-rays I own, I've come to the conclussion that they're the same. People have even shown waterfalls comparing the 2 (when films use the same masters) and it proves there's no difference between the 2. Sound to me like the stuff you're comparing is apples to oranges unless you compared the 2 in the exact same enviorment on the exact same system from the exact same master without any sort of tweaks made.

Please let not bring back the DTS HD MA vs Dolby True HD debate in this thread. Let keep it for Ninja Assassin.

I saw it in the theater and it was awesome. You will not be dissapointed if you like action movies.

For the record, DTS HD Master Audio for the winners!!!!

Can't wait to get this BD.

Awesome movie.

Somebody commented on the weak story. This isn't a movie you see for the story. It's a movie you see for the awesome, splattery action.

Day 1.

I bet this movie does pretty good on blu (mid 30% range).

I'll blind buy this if it's under $20
