Compared to the original short, T is for Turbo (which was already quite fun but a bit cheap, see for yourself > http://youtu.be/lBL0vPheNwM), it looks FANTASTIC ! Unfortunately, I think a theatrical or even a video release is highly uncertain in France so I really hope a region-free blu-ray will be available in a few months to allow me to discover that retro gem (don't know if it's because it reminds me of my childhood but I'm very much into 80's stuff lately).

The US general theatrical release starts 28 August. There is a Blu-ray and DVD release scheduled for 09 December. Nothing specific about France. Nothing reliable about disc regions yet.

I had no idea of this film's existence until I read the review on this site a few hours ago. It screened at my local theatre last night but it was a one night only deal so I missed it.

It's available on iTunes right now to buy or rent though, so heads up to anyone that wants to see it. I'll give it a rent sometime this weekend.

I have to say though, while I understand this film is low budget and shooting on digital would be more convenient, the digital look of the film really kills the 80s aesthetic it's going for.

These retro films really need to be done on film to get the full effect. Ti West's House of the Devil did it right.

Must be very limited, Fandingo has no listings for Atlanta showings.
