Default Deep Impact 4K UHD

Has anyone watched (via streaming) the 4K UHD/HDR version of "Deep Impact"? Also wondered if it is in Dolby Vision HDR, and how good it looks.....

According to iTunes it is in Dolby Vision, although I haven’t seen the 4K version yet.

I have watched this long time ago and thought it looked average. The HD version had more grain + noise. 4K is definitely grain managed. Not like To Catch a Thief but very close. Will watch it again to re-assess.

I think it looks pretty good actually! I have it on VUDU and it has nice film grain. It's MUCH better than that old blu-ray; besides it's not the most visually interesting film anyway (but I love it!) and worth it especially if you can get it on sale.

I've been waiting for this to drop to $4.99 in iTunes for a long time -- of all the similarly-themed disaster flicks, it's my favorite.

It looks damn fine for a 90's flick, no idea what you're on about.

The blu screencaps look pretty dated and so I'd imagine the digital uhd would be an improvement with a much newer scan. This title is old enough that it was even released on the LD format. I also would like it but am having second thoughts because of what will likely be inferior audio to the existing blu and also without the extras, in addition to it not being MA since Paramount is the studio.
