This is fantastic news.

This holds quite a lot of nostalgia for me; I can only hope that Universal do right by it.

I remember this movie!! I watched it for the first time last christmas since i was a kid. Still great!

If the transfer and whatnot is good, i'm definitely getting this! (Just as a big animation and Snowman fan)

Due to the length of this (29mins) I would have thought Father Christmas would've been included.

I can't really see this being expensive & is a MUST BUY either way!

Yes Universal are region free buddy. You'll be ok in importing from amazon.co.uk across the pond.

Magical film that I love but I'm happy to just watch it when it's on Channel 4. It's not going to be watched any more than once, especially outside of December, so kind of pointless to buy it.

My folks used to know Raymond Briggs and he came over to our house once or twice....this, Fungus the Bogeyman, Father Christmas and When The Wind Blows were special for me as kid. Used to watch it every christmas without fail. Watched in on Channel 4 HD last year, dont know if it was an HD version or upscaled

This was, still and always will be my favourite film, I was completely obsessed with this when I was younger I would literally watch it, rewind the tape press play and watch it over and over my parents say I would do it at least 5 times during each sitting!
Most people's soft toy is teddy bear...... Mine was snowman, still have him sitting next to my bed at the age of 22 hahaha!
Will definatley be pre-ordering this amazing film! So happy it's coming to HD blu!
