The original 4K was done in the wrong color space and they never fixed it, so I wonder if the new discs will be fixed?

I think it's in good hands coming from Scream Factory. They always seem to do a great job on transfers.

Hope the art is as good as the previous releases. They've really done pretty well with this one.

This announcement is kind of not a good sign, I will buy of course however this implies Scream! Factory will probably re-issue most of the 4K releases that were not so cheap on SteelBooks. I am expecting for more Scream! Factory Universal / MGM 4k titles to be re-issued. Specially the John Carpenter titles; Escape From New York, Prince Of Darkness, The Fog, and JC related titles like Halloween II and III.

This is one of those movies that would benefit from a clear slipcover. Have Piper wearing the glasses and an image of one of 'them' in the glasses and then slide up the slipcover and the image is a normal human. Or vice versa.

I was thinking something lenticular, like changes to the word “WATCH” in b&w at different angles.

Not bad. I have the French steelbook, so I don't need this. But I might grab the standard edition since it'll cost less, but only if this is a new 4K transfer and better than StudioCanal's.
