The worst I received was from a local tv station that I use to work for, they gave us each a large bag of M&M's and a towel that had the M&M's logo on it. I thought it was a joke at first.
Best was a full prime rib, man it was good and those aren't too cheap. I have received money from other employers, but that prime rib was tasty and I along with a group of friends really enjoyed it with some beers. |

I've never gotten a holiday bonus from any of my jobs. Yes, we have yearly performance reviews where we get an annual bonus, but that never falls during Christmas time. So, I get nothing at this time of the year, other than my usual paycheck.

I worked for a company that would give a choice of a ham or turkey. There was also an option to gift that ham/turkey to a local food bank, which I thought was a nice season appropriate option. |

The worst of course is getting nothing, which the majority of workplaces do these days.
Thankfully i work for a good family owned smaller business and bonus checks are a part of our salary, we get them every 1/4 with x-mas of course being the bigger one. Some years are better than others but for the most part they do pretty good for us. |

And watch the film thinking how much of that bonus will actually go towards fixing the numerous things on the house that were broken that holiday... ceiling, gutter, front door, windows, etc. And Clark was a dumbass for writing a check for a pool that he didnt have the money to cover in checking

The most I get is 15% off one order (in addition to the 5% employee discount I get every day). I got one in November and another one that expires at the end of January. Not much, but it's enough to knock off almost five bucks if I get $40 worth of groceries at once.

I used to work at a place who would ask for freebies from our vendors for our Christmas Party. They would get swag from a lot of them and then some would just give cash and the company would buy gift cards. Since it was a travel agency, we would get free car rental certificates and free hotel stays and also free airline tickets. The company did drawings for the prizes, so not everyone would get something. Once I got an airplane model. I gave it to a co-worker who collected them. Once I got a "gimme" cap from a car company, gave it away to someone who got their t-shirt.
I used to get a $50 gift card from another department manager every year because I would always help them out when they needed it. |
