I recently upgraded to 4K. A Sony 50x85j and a Panasonic ub820. I used the Spears and Munsell 4K calibration disc. All recommended settings like turning off noise reduction and cinemotion. When I play discs there is a slight pixilation in all movies and really bad in others. Mostly it is noticeable in scenes with blue sky. The opening sequence in Django and Donnie Darko. It doesn't happen with standard Blu-ray and DVD. I have an HDMI 2.1 cable connection. The only thing I can think of are the settings in the player or maybe line noise from my surge protector. Any help or theories are appreciated. Thanks for your input.
