I'll order when it comes up.

For Season 1 I waited for the UHD and watched that. I knew nothing about the story or history other than what's mentioned in the GOT series so I had no issues waiting. But for Season 2 I couldn't wait and have been watching on Max. This has actually been much better. Season 1 UHD did not have episode recaps or the behind the episode segments at the end of each episode. Maybe if you binge you don't need recaps but I watched them 1 a week anyway so it would stick in my long term memory better. The recaps help a lot and I enjoy the behind the episode segments and they tell you what's important and sometimes explain things I missed. Also the UHD was very very dark in dark scenes and streaming on Max it's much better.

Any rumors/leaks as to whether this will include Blu-ray or just be 4K only. So many people asking me if "Can I borrow the blu-ray when you get the 4k?" Seems like a lot of the 4K packages are moving away from including blu-rays...

I replied in the SB thread, but others here too, it's also available up Amazon. Should be a wide release, and I expect the price to go down.

typical standard case sans the blu-ray's whereas Season 1 is a fat case with both UHD/BD's. Uggh! I bet season 1 gets a re-issue of just 4K's only.....

I could get both seasons 1 & 2 now and then buy the other seasons as they release, but I have the complete 4K set for Game of Thrones on my shelf now, and I'll be bothered by having House of the Dragon as individual seasons. So, as much as it pains me, I'll probably just wait for the show to finish and pick up the inevitable complete 4K set.
