Default Grosse Pointe Garden Society (2025-)

Grosse Pointe Garden Society is an American drama television series written and created by Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs. It premiered on NBC on February 23, 2025.
Four members of a suburban gardening club in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, near Detroit, share a murderous secret.
I'll be honest, I only started watching this series because of Nancy Travis, who I've been a fan of since childhood. And although Nancy has a much smaller running time than I expected, the series kept me riveted to the screen with its plot and I reached the fifth episode. A great mix of drama, black comedy and thriller, although the thriller element is not the classic "Who donne it?" than the more modern "Who was killed?".

Disappointed with all the cliffhangers it left, especially with the show's fate in limbo.

I've only watched the first couple of episodes. It's got a decent cast, & I kinda enjoyed it, but a lot of it feels like it's trying way too hard to be Desperate Housewives for a new generation - It's so similar in tone I had to look at the credits to see if it was done by the same people who made that show (turns out co-creator/showrunner Jenna Bans was a writer on DH).

I'll probably wait to see if it gets renewed before continuing. Too many other things to watch to waste time on unresolved cliffhangers.
