Submergence (Wim Wenders, Alicia Vikander, James McAvoy, March 2019)

Just watched this last night always thought it looked crap but picked it up when I seen it for £2.00 in Poundland years ago.


I liked it quite a bit the 2 leads were excellent. Nothing about it makes it feel like a Wenders film I suppose.

Only negative was the guy with the beard (Vikander's co-worker) was totally not needed I'm sure Wenders could have gotten Vikander to act a bit more in those scenes. He almost destroyed the film.

The ne'er-do-wells are quite well done Wenders gives most of them a bit of humanity.

UK disc has no extras the US disc has a bit of fluff with a 10min making of and some gawd awful artwork.
