I guess this is Paramount's first TOC release, the last two studios to join TOC are Sony Pictures and Disney. This will depend if this sells well or not.

I had no idea Paramount had foreign rights to this film.

They struck a deal with WB for international rights before the film's release to avoid a lawsuit based on questions over ownership.

On top of how unattractive it all is, how in the world did they miss including the iconic smiley face with blood drop pin? I mean I see they are theming it with Manhattan, but still...c'mon!

The iconic smiley face is a registered trademark that the studio doesn't own. They would have to pay for its usage.

If this has same.specshard pass needs a newer 4k remaster and an atmos track original 4k was dark and washed out even with her and 5.1 what is this 2006 lo L

It's been featured on several other versions of previous releases of the movie, so it can't be that difficult.

Yes, it can be that hard. They can't use the smiley face on anything in Europe. Blood or no blood. Not on movies or books. The smiley face can't be used on anything even if it doesn't have anything to do with The Watchmen unless they pay for the rights to use it.

And nobody wants to do that.
