I've seen one site has this for November 24th. I wanted to check this out but it came and went at my theater. This shouldn't have came out right when kids were going back in school.

You can get the series on Blu-ray in Japan, FYI.

Though you're right, with the movie highly acclaimed and the series airing on US TV again because of that (you can catch the show on Cartoon Network now by the way!), Lionsgate and Aardman should consider that for the US.

I watched this movie without having seen the show. Hell, the last Aardman Animations movie I had seen was Chicken Run and I was blown away at how funny this movie was! Money is a bit tight but will definitely pick this one up down the line. Is this the first Aardman Animations BR release btw?

Check out The Pirates! Band of Misfits (or 'in an Adventure with Scientists'). Arthur Christmas is good too, but it isn't stop-motion. Some of their Wallace and Gromit work is available as well, but I think the film set is OOP.

Didn't get to see it in theaters but looks like a solid blind-buy for me based on the reviews. Aardman has some really good stuff with their claymation works.

Only the first two seasons. Hong Kong is the only country to have the entire series on Blu-Ray. The releases are all Region A however the discs are 1080i 25fps so not all players will support them. PS4 and Xbox One will play them. Also worth noting that the first season was not shot in HD so the Blu-Rays don't look great compared to the rest.

I have two younger children so I see A LOT of kids movies. That's pretty much all the movies I see on the big screen these days (the last "grown up" movie I saw was This Is Where I Leave You). Anyway, Shaun the Sheep is the best kids movie I have seen this year. Very witty for adults yet enough gentle humour for kids of all ages.

Saw this in theaters and absolutely loved it. Got the blu yesterday and we're rewatching it now. Wish we'd get curse of the wererabbit on blu.

Probably one of the most delightful things that came out this year. The Acapella scene alone could melt the heart of even the most cynical audiences.

I'm so happy to read that this was good. I've watched most of the cartoon and after reading how good this was from everyone hear I decided to order it.
