Umm. Difficult one. Speed is probably the better all-round movie, but Point Break has quite a few scenes of pure awesomeness that outdo anything in Speed, and I find it even more fun to watch. So on balance I'm going for Point Break.

Point Break hits all the right action beats, features some innovative cinematography, has excellent characters with actual personalities and a fast and funny script (ghost)written by James Cameron.

Speed looks nice but just kind of sits there repeating itself over and over. Oh, and it was written by Graham Yost.

Both films are better than they really have a right to be, but Speed is certainly a cut above in my book.

Both are great and fun to watch, but I'm going with Point Break. I like the characters and premise just a little more than speed.

Speed is a great straight forward action film but I seem to discover new cool wtf? things every time I watch Point Break. It always makes me feel nostalgic for the 90s.
Point Break gets my vote by a hair.

I’ve seen Speed multiple times and Point Break only once. So definitely Speed.
